home course slipped to number 57 in 2001, but I still get a yes from Wino John
when I invite him to play. By the
way, Wino John, Lighthouse Sound in Ocean City is the number 5 course in
Maryland and one of only two public courses in the top 5.
Pine Valley, the perennial number one and a Jersey favorite of mine,
slipped to number two in favor of Pebble Beach this year.
I believe this is the year that scenery slipped into the ratings formula.
